Riverside City College: Spring 2017

Greetings all future RN students. I just wanted to start a thread for any potential applicants who will be applying to riverside city college RN program this September for Spring 2017. Let's all get together on this thread and share experiences as well as answer questions. I know the application period is 6 months away, but it will be here before you know it! :yes:

When I went to Jackie my points were calculated at 90. I had a couple courses from out of state that made me nervous bc I have to make sure they are accepted.

I did apply to CSUSB. they didn't accept my new and better grades for some classes. so my cumulative was below 3.5 with that deal. I wasn't eligible.

From what I've seen in the past, the emails are sent out at the very end of the day (Friday). Sometimes points are calculated incorrectly or your TEAS scores aren't included in your points. Mistakes happen, and unfortunately this won't be corrected until the next week. I've already braced myself for something like this happening...... so don't freak out too much if this happens to any of you. ;) I plan to keep myself busy this week, especially Friday! Our hearts will be pounding when we check our emails that day!!! :nailbiting:

If i had those stats i would have been applying to bsn programs

I wanted to save $$ by doing ADN and then bridge to BSN. My husband is st CBU so we already have a lot of student loans :(

Yeah the cost is so much better. I think it's working out in my favor by having that door closed. Plus! We can start working a year sooner making the same money. While we do a bridge program :)

I have 85 points. I have heard of that happening to other students in previous cohorts, but I hope my information isn't miscalculated prior to the email being sent out. (Sigh)
