Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Spring 2021!

I will be submitting my application soon, just starting this for any other applicants to share stats and experience!

Is anyone applying to other schools? I just submitted my application and now the wait feels so long.

I am actually only applying to this program, I know this is so risky but if I do not get in I will apply later, but so excited for you!! What other schools were you also going to apply to? Also are you applying for both programs or just ADN?

Thanks! Excited for you too! I did the transcript evaluation for MSJC and might apply to MiraCosta, but I'm not sure if I will apply to more. And I applied to both, hbu?

Oh that’s good! I’m only applying to ADN because I’m hoping to do ADN-MSN instead of BSN but yeah I just submitted my application last night!!

Did you guys do a transcript evaluation for RCC or do they just need your transcript on file?

Wait what is transcript evaluation LOL? I might apply to other ADN programs but have no idea what that is

I know MSJC required it, but basically it's a step before submitting the application. You submit a transcript evaluation in order for the school to verify that the courses taken are equivalent to what their program requires and it's used to see if minimum grades are met. Then they invite you to apply, but not all ADN schools do that.
