Hello, congrats to you as well! Not sure exactly what the class and time schedules will be but it is only a 5 unit class I believe. You might not have to quit your job-just yet! :) See you at the Orientation this Thursday.

Hi, My kid is finishing up last pre-req at CSULB and thinking of apply to CCs. It seems for Rio Hondo, next semester is Summer. Do you know when it will start. When is application time for Fall 14?

I am very confused about the ADN 151 class. I want to apply for Spring 2015. They offer ADN 151 this summer (June-August). The websites says "Students who are applying for ADN 151, must have an application and documentation of coursework on file in the Nursing Office by October 1st for Spring admission."

I don't think I will be able to have all documents and files available before the class starts this summer. Does this mean, by October 1st (the spring deadline) I must have applied to the 151 class and nursing program, and after I get accepted to the nursing program I will take the class in Fall or Winter before Spring quarter?

So when I apply (before October) I wont have ADN 151 finished yet (so it's not really a prerequisite to apply) but I will have it finished before Spring?

Think of ADN151 of being in the program. You have to finish all your prereqs or most of them and be ACCEPTED to take ADN 151. Not everyone can take the class. you have to be accepted first. So if you were applying by Oct. 1 and got accepted, you would then take ADN 151 in the spring.
