Hello! Just wanted to start a forum for RHC's application cycle that started March 2nd. Has anyone applied yet? Still waiting for my RHC student ID.

Question. If I get rejected and those who got accepted don't go, is there a chance that their spot will be given to me?

 It says in the letter anyone who does not accept their spot by Wednesday and begin the castlebranch process by this Friday, their spot will be given to someone else. I expect you would have to be on some type of alternate list though, I'm not sure how they sort that out.

If you were notified that you were an alternate, then you will get a spot. They are told they are alternates and are also required to go to the orientation in May. I was at the orientation for the last semester and they told all the alternates they would be given a spot. I'll also be at the orientation in May, whether I get in or not.

So alternatives already received their email that "they are alternatives " ?

Is alternative the same as rejected? If I get rejected, do I still have a chance to have a spot?

No in the letter they will state "accepted , rejected , or alternative " I haven't seen someone get rejected and get in.

Thank you. I understand now. If I get rejected, I will hope that some of the alternatives do not accept the spot so I have a chance to get in.

I'm not sure what the email says, I just know they are notified of having an alternate position and told to go to the orientation.

I responded to them that I will be accepting my spot & they confirmed they received my email. But I have not started the CastleBranch process yet. If anyone cares about my stats:

3.5 overall GPA, sciences: A, A, & B, TEAS was 81%, associates degree, and I have 4 years experience working in the ICU as a unit assistant.

This also happened to me! I'm so confused.  I got a denied last year then 2 hours later it was recalled. You should call and ask. I called them and they told me to just ignore it but I did get denied this was last year btw... I haven't gotten any email as of today
