Review for RNs

I want to start a position on the floor/more on the clinical side of things. I am currently in a position that is mostly non clinical and I have very limited clinical experience, so I am afraid I may be a little rusty.

I am looking for any and all suggestions of websites, books, videos, etc to review and refresh my memory.

Thank you in advance :)

What kind of position do you currently hold? I would say get a good physical assessment book. As a new grad I used Bates Pocket Guide to Physical Examination and History Taking by Lynn Bickley. I also have referred to the Manual of Critical Care Nursing by Elsevier Mosby. With no clinical exp you just need to find a job where you can get training. Maybe even take a refresher course.

What kind of job are you going for?

What kind of experience do you have?

Thank you both for your responses. I would love to take a refresher course. This is actually something I have looked into but I work full time and none of the refresher courses in my area would work with my schedule at all. They were also very expensive, and I am in school for BSN right now and can't afford both. I really wish the refresher course would workout because this would obviously be the most effective option. I have very limited clinical experience so in the mean time I plan to refresh on my own with books, videos, books from nursing school, search for Internet sites, etc. Thanks so much for your suggestions I really appreciate it :)
