Review on IELTS: ACAD or GT Module?

Hi to all. I just want your opinion regarding which review module should i choose in IELTS. I am a nurse by profession here in the Philippines and planning to work as a nurse in canada in the future. In some of my readings, when applying for visa in canada, GT is needed.. they do not allow acad ielts.. (please correct me if im wrong ) and when you apply for a license there you'll be needing academic ielts..( Of course I'll be taking GT ielts first.) So im confused which review module should I choose ACAD or GT... Is there a great difference between the two?

Immigration requires general IELTS and depending on province most require Academic IELTS
