retrogression and NCLEX expires

Published

hey @all!!!

my question ist:

when the congress decide to open the visas for this year, and it start's in april, and you (maybe) get your paperwork done in october, in the meantime, my allready passed NCLEX exam expires!!! becouse the FBN told me, it will stay only for one year.

right now, I have a tourist vis, so I have NO sss#.........

please need some advise...

thanks

Your NCLEX result does not expire for at least 10 years.

The application that you have with Florida will expire, but that is not the same as the NCLEX exam. Same thing happens in most other states, you will need to re-apply to them if you are not able to provide them with a SSN# by the deadline. That simple, you do not need to repeat the exam.

I would be much more concerned about the tourist visa at this point, you cannot adjust a visa that is not current and you posted in the past that your visa was going to expire in November. Forget about the SSN#, it is your status that is at issue............SSN# can be gotten when it is time to work, but a visa that is not current is meaningless and nothing can be done about it........Immigration is watching that very closely right now.

You were born in Europe, if I remember correctly, so things may open up earlier for you, but the issue is the status of your visa right now.
