Retaking the HESI Entrance Exam.

Nursing Students HESI

In 2 months I'm taking the Hesi exam for the third time and I'm just feeling so discouraged. I don't understand how I'm studying so hard for this test and I keep failing. I even scored lower the second time.

I just want to know what are some study materials you used because clearly I'm studying the wrong way so anything is helpful.

I would absolutely suggest using the HESI book! I retook the HESI a second time to improve my chemistry and anatomy scores but found the HESI book to be very helpful for every section. I used it to study both times I took the exam.

Have you taken all of these courses (biology, math, chemistry, anatomy, etc.) recently? If you have and you still have your textbooks, go over the basics of these subjects to refresh your memory.

*Edit* I posted before I read your last comment so I see you did take anatomy a bit ago..

For anatomy I would suggest going over the bolded words in the textbook but no need to read it word for word. If you don't have a textbook I would find a resources that you can go over the basics, like for anatomy review all the body systems and the basics of those.

Good luck!!

Yea I took all my science classes a bit ago but thanks :). I'm using the Hesi book right now and it's actually a big help.
