Resurrection University/WSCN Commuters

Published

hey any current or past resurrection/wscn students commute from the north? i live about 20 minutes north of woodfield mall and i was considering driving to school every day but i feel like with traffic that would suck. also i will only be working one day a week so i am going to have no money for gas... i was wondering if anyone took the cta trains to wscn. and if they have any type of student pass or anything like that. i am very overwhelmed with this because i am a born and raised suburbs girl, i hate driving in the city and the train system confuses me... i know i could figure it out but i would like any insight on that if anyone else has done that or plans on doing that. thanks!! :)

its really not in the city... the classes are at oakpark im assuming which is a suburb.. Maybe for only clinicals there will be some in the city but you could just carpool

The school is going to be moving to the campus of St. Mary's Hospital (check the Resurrection Hospitals website for location) on the northside of chicago. It will be much easier to commute there from the northern suburbs. I haven't heard yet when they are doing the transition but I think it will be before Fall 2011 when I am hopefully starting. Someone from work is finishing her program and this is what they were told on campus.
