I just wanted to ask for some help with my resume. I'm having trouble with the career summary. How is it supposed to differ from what you say on your skills or proficiency list? The only things I can think of are how much experience I have, what unit I've worked in. Is it a good idea to put words like: team-player, dedicated, hard-working? I've read those were pretty generic and wouldn't really help me.
In terms of achievements, I can't really think of any. I've gotten employee of the month at a agency once, but I don't think it's that important.
I've read different things with regards to how you should write your resume. Some say to take out your address so that employers don't write you off because of your location, some leave it. Trying to upgrade my resume, cause it hasn't worked the last few months.
Thanks for your time.
edit: While I'm at it, if you have a skills and proficiency list, what would you then place on your job experience? Would it be redundant to put the the things you already placed on your skills list?
