Resume Format - 1 year experience

Hey y'all.

So I need help with the format of a resume for a nurse w 1 year RN experience. I can't find anything consistent online. I'm assuming it's a little different than that of a new grad since I now have some actual nursing experience. Here's what I have:

Personal Information (name, email, etc.)

Overview/Intro Statement

Licensure/Certificates/Training (this section is pretty lengthy)

Skills Highlights

Work Experience

Clinical Experience

Education

Organizations/Memberships/Community Service (also lengthy)

Everything in bold is what I feel is probably in the wrong order. I should mention that I'm currently in a residency program and working on an evidence-based project. Would that kind of info go in the last section? And is community service necessary to include? The whole thing at this point is about 1.5-2 pages.

Please reply if you can, I'm planning to apply to positions starting in June. Thanks so much!

Organisation/community work.

Your a nurse with experience, clinicals should not be on your cv!

skills highlights don't need a seperate section. Base it all on your experience at your job. Not as a student.

Thank you! My thinking was that since my actual work experience is so limited and I'm still fairly fresh out of school, my clinical experience would show more variety in terms of the things I've been exposed to, right? Especially since the work experience I have is not related to the area I want to be in. Maybe not :shy:
