I have been in the operating room since March and it is my first nursing job. Its ok, but I really miss bedside nursing and actually talking to the patient. Please critique my resume and give suggestions.
Objective

Your objective is to return to bedside nursing after X years in the OR, and I think it's perfectly acceptable to say that.
You can probably edit down the OR job description too. Believe me, nowadays everybody is "highly motivated/compassionate/exceptional/dedicated/client-focused," so lose the hyperbole. It really gets hard to read after a few dozen cross your desk. :) Say that your last performance review rated you as above average in.... and excellent in ... and as a result your present goals are to improve your skills in ... . They will appreciate that. Of course, it had better be true. :) If it's really good, you could attach a copy.
They know what a CNA does, so I wouldn't tell them all that-- it's not an advantage at this point in your career. You're not applying for a CNA job.
