I live in a state that does not offer quick results CA. So I called the BRN and was told I had to wait 4 weeks to receive my results in the mail. I also asked about checking your name on the BRN 48hours later but she said that is not accurate. Now I'm worried and freaking out. I tried the PVT 50x and I'm still getting the good pop up. For those of you that live in CA how long did you wait to see your name on CA BRN? does Saturday count as a business day?
Thank you for everyone that responded, i just wanted to say that i did pass and it took 3 and half weeks until I saw my name on BRN.
whew, i feel for you..i took thurs and and i am now crazy here waiting...but my PVT pop up is that my result is on hold.. don't know what to expect :crying2:
but anyway, congrats to you.. everything paid off :nurse:
Hello all, Im new to this site but I graduated from a BSN program in Dec 2010 but was to afraid to take the NCLEX until 5-4-2011. Was afraid I failed because the questions were to easy and it only took about 45 minutes to complete 75 questions before the computer turned blue. Needless to say I thought I failed so I went home and tried the pvt but was unable to reregister... the next morning I searched for my name under the department of health license verification aaaaand THERE I WAS WITH A LICENSE #!!!! PVT WORKS!!!
I graduated in Feb 18, 2011 but did not take NCLEX in California until July 8, 2011. The computer shut off after 75 questions and a little less than 2 hrs and I truly felt that I did not do well. On July 11th, unable to relax while waiting for my results, I found the post that mentioned the PVT trick. I tried it and got the "good" pop up (actually tried it a few times :)). The following morning I saw that the BRN verification site had updated with my license information!!
A week later, I now have my official results from BRN- PVT trick worked for me!
Hi I just took my nclex-pn exam yesterday. It was the worst exam I have ever had. The machine just kept going and going. I did all 205 questions in the entire 5 hours. I was so exhausted and disappointed. I really felt like a failure. I took the PVT test today and I got the good pop up. This makes me feel a little better but not absolutly. My weekend is ruined because I can't stop thinking about this and studying all over again to pass this exam. omg. I just pray the PVT trick works for me like it did for some of you. Has anyone else done all 205 questions and passed? Help:cry:
