I think that you should definately get it checked out...especially if it makes you feel light headed or regular..it could be afib/vtach/st some other aberrant conduction...if it continues go to the ER, but if it stops you can make an appointment with your pcp...they may have you wear a heart monitor but things like this can be hard to catch if they are intermittent...when you feel you pulse try to determine if it is regular or not too...if you feel it you can try to cough or bear down (like having a bm) to see if it slows down- but it should be checked out...

It can be so many things...anxiety, thyroid, heart etc, etc...There is no way for any of us to tell you what it is. You really need to see a doctor. Good luck:)
