Hi all,
I wanted to know if anyone knew of any Respiratory Therapy programs in Arizona. I'm interested in relocating to AZ from NV either to study nursing or respiratory therapy? Does anyone have any ideas regarding salary for therapists or good schools ?
Thanks in advance

Here is my two cents on respiratory therapy:
a) You will always earn about $6.00 an hour less than an RN. That is about $10,000-$12,000 per year
b) It is a terminal position - an RN can go into administration, case management, or a myriad of sub-specialties. Quite a few AZ hospital CEOs started as RNs. An RT will always be an RT.
c) A lot of the RT work seems kind of dull and repetitive.
If you are allergic to poop - RT is a great career. Otherwise, I'd go for the RN.
