I am a student at bmcc in manhattan and I was interested in there nursing program however my 3.72 gpa will not get me in the program so I am thinking about going into respiratory therapy. What are your thoughts is it a good field or a waste of time.
I am concerned about the job market for respiratory I know that nursing is having a hard time I think it might be the same for respiratory.
please reply thanks

Where i live (california) i see alot of jobs for respiratory care professionals. yea it may seem like there is nothing out there but dont let that stop you, you never know what will happen once you graduate. have faith and be encouraged dont let the negative get you down God is a miracle worker, so those who say there is no jobs out there for new grads for any field, i say the opposite. if you speak positive, positive will happen, if you speak negative, negative will happen. it really just depends on you. always have faith in your self and what it is that you want to accomplish b/c all things are possible, there is no limit to where you can go no matter what you are hearing, seeing, and or witnessing. so which ever one you choose blessings to you and you will succeed!!!
well thats good to here, many people are complaining but as you said it is because a lack of faith.
