Does anyone know how long it will take for cardiac arrest to occur after respiratory arrest without CPR?

Learned something new today! However the comment by RN-Cardiac that 30 min reserve was possible was a real exaggeration! Thanks, Gila!

No problem. I am not aware of this thirty minute reserve concept. Perhaps something done during cardiac arrest research? I do know there is a push to look at the damage oxygen produces. In fact, it may turn out that much damage is done after the arrest when oxygen floods previously ischaemic tissue. This so called reperfusion injury.
