Resident requirements for PA and BSN colleges in Philly

I will be leaving military service and would like to move to Philly to get my BSN. Now I have a 2 part question.

1. What colleges are best in the area, and are cost effective?

2. How do I become a resident of PA, as I have family living in Philly right now?

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Residency requirements will be set by the college you attend for purposes of tuition assessment.

Check the sticky post at the top of the thread to assess NCLEX pass rates as an indication of quality of education provided by various schools.

BIG L97, I went to LaSalle university for my BSN. They were pretty good. They're at 20th and Olney Ave. I went part time for many yrs., took a 2 yr break at one time. I don't know how long you have to live in Philly before you're considered a resident. hope this helps.
