residency dilemma

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Looking to get some opinions ..im a licensed RN ADN currently in an RN to BSN program, now a residency ive been waiting for for months has finally opened and acording to recruiter you must either have a bsn or bsn or be enrolled, but the job description says for new bsn grads...unoffcially they are taking RN to BSN students, the problem is there is a question that states do you have BSN degree, which until the end of the year i wont have . but if i put no i know the system will throw my app in the trash since its selected as a requirement..unofficially i have it from the program recruiter that they will take RN to BSN students.. i cant reach her to ask what i should put...what do you think. if i put no, i know my app wont be seen, if i put yes i at least know it will be seen and on my resume it clearly states my expected graduation date so they can then make a decision based on that.

Don't lie. Either put the truth in there and/or call the recruiter back and ask her how to handle that question. Whatever you do, don't start out a professional relationship with a lie.
