Hello everyone! I am a foreign graduated nurse. I've got a US Nursing license issued by New York state however, I would like to do the endorsement for California. The required curriculum prelicensure must have 9 quarter units of "Communications: oral, written and group". I lack this requirement since I completed my Nursing degree in my original country, Spain. Now, I've got the opportunity to get enrolled in this course: “English for academic purposes" (30 ECTS) run by The Open University. Will this course fulfill the required curriculum of Communications?
Description of the course: This online module is aimed at both UK-based and international students who are planning to study or who are already studying at university. The course focuses on the development of academic reading and writing skills but will also help you make progress in speaking and listening in order to study successfully. It will be useful if you wish to improve your existing competence in academic English whilst studying or if your goal is to raise your IELTS scores to enable you to gain entry into a university of your choice.
Many thanks in advance.

It likely will not as it is UK-based and Open University does not grant transferrable (to US) college credit.
You will need courses from US universities like

has anyone been denied because they lack those classes? I'm not going back to school just to get the CA license.
