Repeat Anatomy

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi, I took Anatomy and got a C in the class. My school or any school around my area, doesn't let us repeat a class unless we got a D, W, or F in the class. Is there anywhere online where I can repeat the Anatomy without being with the physiology class? I don't think the RN program allows the two classes together do they?

It depends on the program, my program required A&P to be taught together. Can you just go to another school in your area to take anatomy?

Ive called every school in my area and none of them allow a repeat of a C grade. I think this is so dumb because I tried really hard and got a C but someone that didn't try at all and got an F is allowed to repeat up to 3 times.

Which state are you in btw?

I am sorry that is ridiculous. I am in Oregon. I retook two of my A&P classes and I had B's the first time around.

My anatomy and physiology classes were separate, they were not combined and I had no problem with it when I was applying. The school also did not allow for us to repeat a class unless we got a D or lower.

Kvedaa, it is ridiculous! They tell me to go somewhere else to repeat it and then I try so I can get into the RN program, and no one will let me. Aleong29, my anatomy and physio classes are separate also, I just need to repeat them and the only thing I am finding online are them together which I don't think a lot of RN programs accept.

Check if your school has a sister school you can take them at. I had to repeat a couple classes because my pre-reqs expired. Going to a brand new school to take them wasn't an option because as a new student there was no way I would even have had the chance to enroll because those classes fill up so fast. I was unable to take them at my old CC because I had already gotten As and Bs in those classes but luckily they had a sister school offering the same classes. I was able to enroll for them there right away because my units from the first school qualified me as a continuing student giving me registration date priority at the sister school. And I was eligible to "re-take" the classes since I did not take them at that campus the first time around. Hope that helps!
