Remington College of Nursing Summer 2013

Hello everyone,

I have not seen any recent postings. I was wondering if who else has been admitted to the Summer 2013 term at RCON? Look forward to some responses. :)

Yeah I had to enlist the help of my mom and dad too. Is anybody planning on living at Colonial Grand at Town park? I'm freaking out a little bit because I took A&P over a year ago and have forgotten several bits of information? Is anyone in the same boat?

I was looking into it. The two bedrooms seem pretty affordable. I'm just going to have all my info all together and then look for a roommate, hopefully at orientation, and reserve one as soon as I find somebody! I feel like this is all so last minute :p i wonder if we could set up a group on a social media network or something?

I completely understand about what not remembering info from prerequisites. I bought 2 books a Physiology "made really easy" and Pharmacology "made really easy" and they are wonderful! I am hoping they will refresh some info and get me prepared to start!

Yeah I agree that a social media group would be beneficial, but to create a group we would need to get members information. You have to post 15 times before you can get the private message option. Let me know if anyone gets that ability and then we can set something up.

Ok. Well that seems reasonable. I am unfortunately not even close to 15. Does anyone have any information about when we are going to receive info for orientation? Also, how is financial aid going for everyone? I feel like I am always missing something!

I know! I am having the same issue, and the issue of whether I am going to be able to find a roommate so I should be looking for a 2 bedroom or a 1 bedroom! The ones at Colonial Grand at Town Park seem really nice, and they appear to have some avaliable, but its hard to tell if any are furnished or not. I have called, but gotten different answers depending on who I am talking to! Have you found any that are definitely furnished? I am coming from northern Vermont, so with a 25 hour drive, I only want to bring what I can fit in my car!

I know! I found somethings at pebble creek, I would like to live close to a few people so we can study together and get to know each other, I also want to see the place before I sign a lease.

I haven't received any emails from RCON since I been accepted. I went on the welcome.remingtoncollege.edu and tried to sign up but it will not let me.

@skcvt I am in the same boat of deciding whether to look for 2brm or 1 depending on if I can get a roommate. Also if y'all (yes I'm a Texan) decide on a place to live keep us all posted because I wouldn't definitely like to be close to other students!!!

I think I was able to sign up awhile back is because they kept sending me automated emails. Before I registered for the school, i added my contact info to receive more information and i think that is how i got it. I can figure out another way if this doesn't help.

1. If you want to get to 15 posts just find a topic to congratulate somebody or give tips for studying.

2. Would anyone want to start a Facebook group? I saw they had one for the last class
