RELOCATION to New Orleans

Published

I've recently graduated from a LPN program and I want to relocate to New Orleans. I would like to know on average how much do LPN's earn and job availability? Where do you suggest I look or go about it? PLEASE HELP

I don't know the answer to your question as I am only a nursing student ... but welcome to New Orleans. The cost of living in NOLA proper can be pretty high and, in general, the jobs don't pay accordingly (my experience in a non-nursing medical field). I know that some of the hospitals are supposedly moving all the LPNs out of the hospital and into the clinics. I want to say that the average pay was $17/hr but that is only from what I've been told, not first hand knowledge.
