You may be able to find a company that will pay your relocation & storage fee's but keep in mind that it will effect your bottome line. More travel $$= less pay, More Expenses=less pay. Also keep in mind that you will need a residence to use the "tax advantage" plan, (putting your stuff in storage may not count at the end of the year).

I'm thinking about starting to travel in fall. A few questions that I have are, do companies cover expenses for relocation or storage of items? I have a fair amount of furniture and would prefer not to sell or give away my bigger items for the most part. Also, I just bought a new car and I still owe on it. Does anyone have any experience as far as having issues with moving overseas or in the US on an assignment, with a bank owned vehicle, ex: US Virgin Islands? One of the reservations I have about traveling is where would I put my stuff, especially because I am now renting and I don't know what my plans will be after my first assignment. I think its more of a fear issue more than anything. I'm worried about not enjoying my first travel assignment and not having any place called "home" to come back to. Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated. I'm sure there are others who have had the same or similar experience(s).
