Relocating

Hi,

I am new to this site so forgive me if this ends up in the wrong place. I am relocating to Colorado from MN, I have know idea where to start to look for employment. . Do you think that I should start with a medical staffing company? I need HELP!!

It depends on which part of the state you are looking to relocate to and what type of nursing you are looking for IE Hospital Nursing Home.

If the "I-25 corridor" South Pueblo to North Fort Collins region I would suggest looking at Banner for Greeley and Loveland, Poudre Valley for Fort Collins, Memorial for Colorado Springs, and Parkview for Pueblo in the hospital group.

Try looking in the Denver Post for the Denver area hospitals.

For nursing homes look up Sava Care there are many facillities throughout the state that this company owns and operates. As of today 10-4-09 I saw at least 20 openings listed.

There are many nurse staffing agencies as well.

There are other places within the state to search/look at just depends on what lifestyle as well, big city small city rural mountain etc.

Thank you for your responce that is a great help. I am from a town of 15,000 and currently commute an hour and a half to and from work each day, so I would be willing to commute. I would like to get into a teaching hospital if possible. I prefer not a nursing home, but would consider it as a possibility. Thanks for your help.
