relocating to s. central pa - $pay scale$ hello. i am a nursing student that will be relocating to the lebanon-lancaster-harrisburg area in 2006. currently i reside in philadelphia and know about the payscale here. does anybody know about specific payscales at various hospitals in and around s.central pa? i'm not just looking for rn starting salary, but also checking out special programs that are available after my first year. for instance, in philadelphia many hospitals offer a starting bonus, then after one year of work, nurses qualify for pool or weekend special duty that can start as much as $55 and hour! what does lebanon-lacaster-harrisburg offer? any help is quite useful.
thanks!

hello, sean
sean, you will have a rude awaken when you arrive to the area. you might have a rude awaken in the area you are moving tooo. hello, and good-bye to the great money and hello to country living. i would apply to hershey medical center because they pay the highest in the area. emm, you should not ask about the money for full time unless you have someone catches your jaw. therefore, do not expect philly wages in the area you are moving and you may see a lot of nurses on the way to philly (so, wave at them as you kick yourself in the butt for leaving, better off to being an agency rn).
have a good one and good luck,
