Relocating to Charlotte - What is RN base pay there?

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Hello!! :)

I'm looking to relocate to the Charlotte area. Any information about working for CMC or Presbyterian Hospitals would be helpful....but specifically I am wondering:

--What is the RN base pay for a new grad?

--What is the RN base pay for 2 years Med/Surg/Orthopedic experience?

--Are there any shift differentials for working nights or weekends?

Thanks!

Good luck in your move! Just a word to the wise from a local LOL...be very careful about where you buy a house. Charlotte has let contruction companies/property developers overrun the town and property has devalued as a result regardless of the economy and the flattening of the real estate market. If you're going to rent then just don't live anywhere that you have to take I-77 into work. It's an absolute commute nightmare. Good luck!

RevolutioN2013 is right! My hubby is a realtor and he can share some horror stories! Best advice I can give is to run, RUN, kicking and screaming from any new neighborhood that is not 99.9995% finished. It's kind of a catch-22 with traffic and property values. Places with best values, like Huntersville and S. Charlotte, have the worst traffic. You almost have to pick your poison LOL.
