Hi to all nurses,

I am a Malaysian, a Registered Nurse, interested in applying nursing job in Canada. I need much help to get information as much as possible. Can someone help me how to start with?

You would need to first contact the NNAS for information on applying for a nursing license as an IEN. You need to meet the requiremnts of the province that you want to work in and pass the NCLEX. Then you need to find n employer and once you have a job offer you can apply for a work visa.

Thanks for the information. Do I have to contact the NNAS and submit all the applications personally or can I apply through recruitment agencies? How long does the IEN licence valid before I have been employed?

Is it true that AHS is no longer recruit foreign nurses?

Albert has been laying staff off so not really able to sponsor IEN that require work permit. NNAS is best applied for by yourself. Just check out the NNAS website.
