Regis University Accelerated BSN May 2014

Published

Since the deadline for the May 2014 Accelerated BSN at Regis in Denver is fast approaching, I thought that I would start a discussion board for those of us who are applying. This will help us keep in touch and check the progress of the application process.

The final deadline through Nursing CAS is Septmber 15th and I am wondering if anyone out there has submitted, what your thoughts are, what you know about the program, etc.

I can't wait to start chatting with fellow soon-to-be RN's. :)

thank you! you too! I'm going through some research this week, but Colorado would be so far to move for me, i might stick with closer schools... even though i know it's beautiful... we will see)

I was really concerned about that questions too so when I received an acceptance letter in my email last Friday, I thought it was a mistake! So thank you all who confirmed that!! I am awaiting the hard copy in the mail and am so excited. Best of luck to everyone who is still waiting for a response! Their decision came earlier than 6-8 weeks so perhaps it will be the same for you. Hang in there!

Not sure what others are doing about financial aid but I decided to wait until acceptance since I believe you have to indicate which school you are going to attend on your FAFSA. Curious about how others are handling their financial aid too.

Congratulations Jason!! Looks like we may be classmates!!

Congratulations! Colorado is wonderful and Regis is an amazing school. I'm from here so I also understand staying to close to home. If I can help you weigh your decision, let me know if I can help:)

Wow, I think those of you with healthcare experience can teach me a lot so this is exciting. I was shocked and thrilled to be accepted without it but I did lifeguard years ago and have been a massage therapist for almost 5 years. Not new to lifesaving techniques or addressing patient issues but yes, I'm new to healthcare.

KSC613, thank you for starting this thread:)

Thank you! Congrats for your acceptances! I got answers from 3 schools so far, the 1st choice GWU for now unless I hear from nyu... Good luck to everybody else this tough year!

Congrats everyone! I got in as well! See you in May! Also wondering about financial aid. I imagine we will have to wait until January 1 to fill out the FAFSA.
