Regis College Direct Entry BA/BS 2017

Published

Hi,

I've applied to Regis College's Accelerated BS/MS for their early decision I round this October! Just decided to start this discussion as we all share our thoughts on the program, why we applied, etc.

A bit about myself, I'm a current senior in college applying for the program next year. What I love about it is you don't necessarily have to commit to a specialty before entry, which is uncommon for DE programs.

I should hear back by the end of October, so I'll keep you updated. Any current or former students from this program are welcome to chime in as well!

Hello Everyone! I also just received the acceptance email too. I'm still waiting on a few more programs before I make my decision, plus that deposit is the highest one I've seen so far. Does anyone know someone already in the program, or who has graduated from the program?

Does anyone know what do in the master's portion? how are we supposed to get hours for the np portion if we are not familiar with anyone in that region? Would we be able to get them elsewhere? I was told that it isn't a good idea to go to a school with no preceptors for the latter portion. Someone help please thank you.

For the user who submitted her deposit to Regis, did you continue through with the program? And since you don’t choose your specialty until year 2 what are the odds or selection process for getting the one you want?
