Regis ABSN 2021

Published

Hey guys!

I didn't see a thread for the Regis ABSN 2021 program yet so I figured I'd start one. I just finished my application a couple weeks ago! Has anyone else applied / planning on applying? I've also applied to the UCAN Denver program.

A little about me – I originally received my Bachelor's in Psychology and went to a Master's program for Clinical Adult Psychology. After moving to Denver, I decided to make the switch to software development and went to a bootcamp. I'm now eager to get back into a caring field and am very excited about eventually becoming a nurse <3!

Best of luck to everyone!

Do you know if Regis’s program meets the licensure requirements for CA?

Just got the call! Anyone moving from California?

I am currently in California.

Same! I believe so because Regis is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Once you take your NCLEX you would then send to CA's BRN if you want to be registered here. You can take the NCLEX anywhere in the country, as long as you direct your application to one state's specific board. I hope that helps!

Did anyone make a FB group yet?

I wasn’t sure if Regis met the semester units of both nursing theory and nursing clinical that CA requires.

@Brook @futurenurseamelia I'm in California as well. This is my first acceptance so I'm very excited! I applied to a few other schools but don't know the results for them yet. Are you guys going to move to attend Regis?

I created a facebook group where we can share info on there! Feel free to join! If there’s already a group let me know! ?
