Regency Hospital, anyone ever work there??

Published

I was just offered a job at Regency Hospital, I was just wondering if anyone had ever worked there. Just wondering what the environment is like, patient accuity level, administrative practices, and some other stuff...Let me know if you've worked there and would be willing to give me some details! Thanks!

Regency Hospital is in the process of being bought out by Select Specialty Hospital. Here is one link

As long as you don't mind the uncertainties that go along with an acquisition go for it.

Specializes in icu/er.

i knew a girl that worked at the one in meridian, i believe they did just get bought out like the above poster stated. her biggest gripe was that if the census was low you were called off. so they were always trying to keep pts in there.

Specializes in multispecialty ICU, SICU including CV.

The Regency in my area is a LTACH, which I think is what the whole chain is. We send all our vent dependent patients there for weaning (from a hospital setting.) You can google LTACH and get some information on the specialty.

I don't know if the one where I live is being bought out or not as another poster stated (Minneapolis area.)
