Actually am trying to do nursing graduate tracer for my institution, am confused is it type of research or general survey, i cannot understand, please can anyone help me

you do not offer enough information. What is a nursing graduate tracer? Are you tracking what they do after graduation or what?

It would be research if you are trying to disprove an hypothesis

Actually, I want to track all the nursing graduates from our institution as we dont have an official tracker for them since the institute build on 90s, yes we have certain documents which contain the graduates details for specific years only.

So as u said it is a research type ??

Are you in the US? What exactly are you looking for?.... a way to track the nurses like with a spreadsheet on the computer or are you doing research for someone. I am not understanding what you need?

If you are trying to locate graduates the best place to start would be to take their last contact information and start calling/mailing/etc to see where they are.
