Recruiters legit or not?

So I am uploading my info to the world in my job search (only facility sites) but am also getting recruiter email?! These are not facility related but independent. What is your experience? Are these mostly scams? Does anybody have a short list of legit recruiters? My tendency is to just label as spam. I know from Allnurses one or two to totally stay away from. I have no intention of taking any temp at this time. Only real jobs. :)

I would be skeptical also. I am seeking a permanent f/t position also. It is tough in my locality. Travel nurses and agency are virtually unheard of now.
