Recoverytrek option 10

Nurses Recovery

Published

Really could use some help here. I was selected for a blood test in recoverytrek option 10. The cost was 60 dollars and it did NOT specify that it was either or an ETG or a PETH test however the cost of this test was 60.00 dollars. I would really appreciate any insight or feedback from someone who has been through this before. I usually pull option 3 which is 29.00. I’ll just say that if it’s PETH I’m probably screwed. Please save the lecture I know I messed up and don’t need to be brow beaten further. Relevant information or even helpful speculation is welcome. Thank you so much in advance. I’m losing sleep and hair over this. Thanks ?

When did you test? Are the results still in progress?

wish I could be more help but I do not use recoverytrek

Hi, thanks for responding. I tested the 25th, results are still pending. I looked back at my billing history and it looks like I had this done January of 2019. I’m almost positive everyone I’ve ever spoken with who has had a PETH said it was at the least 100 dollars. I didn’t fail any tests that I am aware of, have you ever taken a PETH?

For future nurses who maybe wondering. This is a PEth test. The literature is all over the board. You find anything from looking crossed eyed on a full moon in the direction of a bottle of wine at the right angle will be enough to solicit a positive peth test. Others say it takes several drinking episodes or daily drinking to produce a detectable amount. Take this for instance... so will I test positive your guess is as good as mine but during a National outbreak maybe it’s not the best time to walk away from the  daily *** show anyhow.

Hi. I’m sorry you’re going through this; I had to share my story. I had two months left on my 3 year contract and was selected for a Peth test. I cannot remember which Recovery Trek option it was. I had consumed two drinks (I know I’m not allowed) on Saturday. Had the test on Tuesday and came back positive. Long story short, my contract was extended another 3 years. Im angry but have no one to blame but myself. I’m lucky they didn’t decide to put me back into rehab. I play by the rules now. And alcohol was not my drug of choice either. Stay strong!

Mine was positive. I still have to go through the MRO. I’ve been using NyQuil for my cough off and on the last few weeks without a script so I don’t what will happen. If push comes to shove I hope they allow me to continue to work and just extend the contract X amount of time. Thanks for responding.

I hope everything works out for you.

Thank you will post once it plays out.

It’s been a few months now...I hope you are well, physically, mentally, financially!

What was the outcome after speaking with the MRO and your monitoring program?
