Reciprocity of my CNA License from New York to California

Has anyone successfully transferred their New York CNA license to California? I heard that California does not accept reciprocity forms from NY. Thanks so much!

I am sorry, I mean certification. I wonder if anyone has transferred their certification from NY to CA successfully since I Heard CA does not accept NY.

Nothing indicates NYC training/certification is not accepted by CADPH.

Thank you, I haven't found anything either but I will be calling this week, my instructor had told me NY couldn't reciprocate with Hawaii and California.

Good luck trying to contact the California Dept. of Public Health or the nurse aide department. You probably won't be able to speak to anybody or be on hold for 2 hours. That was my experience. It was a breath of fresh air speaking to someone in a DIFFERENT state that actually answered the phone.
