Recent Clayton State Applicants

I am thinking about applying to the Clayton State School of Nursing. I know that they require a cumulative 2.5 gpa to apply, but they also look at the science prereqs and NET score. Would anybody be willing to share their stats for acceptance (cum gpa, science gpa, and NET score)? This would help so much. Thank you.

Keep in mind, upon paying a $40 application fee. You also have to pay a $40 orientation fee which i think is ridiculous. Never in my life have i heard of a college where you pay for orientation and I believe it is $25 if you are going to be accompanied by a guest. They do NOT evaluate your credits if you are a transfer student without signing up for orientation....money making scam if u ask me:down:....good luck with that!

Dont know about you but my money does not grow on trees!!!

I am a returning student so I am not worried about that, but I have heard that their program is difficult to gain entry into. I am looking at other alternatives.

I recently applied there and i also think that the $40.00 orientation fee is stupid, but hey......... I also applied to Chattahoochee Tech for their new ADN program starting in fall '09. I need all pre-req's but am kind of leary of Chattahoochee since this is their first year with ADN program so I think i am going to stick with Clayton. also more aid is available to me if i go with university vs technical school. As far as the program being difficult, from what i hear they all are difficult in metro atlanta. I am just going to try my very best. If I study hard and pray hard I can't go wrong.
