I Receive 2 F from my last 2 classes from Kaplan University last year. Now, I'm a LVN student at South California and is planning to go for BSN once I'm done with VN.
My question is, I received those F because I had to leave the area for more 5 weeks (Military Commitments) and I didn't have any internet connection. I called them ahead of time letting them know that I would gone and ask them to withdraw me from both classes. Anyways, long story short. When I came back I found out that I was still enrolled on both classes and got both F for it.
What is the best way to handle this situation?
Should I retake the classes so it wouldn't show on transcript?
Should I let it be, since I'm a VN student anyways?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
PS: My degree with them was Associates in Human Resources that I never finished.

Did you follow this policy?
Determining the cost, if any, for dropping course will vary based on the following situations:
Students who must drop or withdraw from courses due to a change in military orders and, as a result, are unable to attend class for more than 14 days will not be responsible for any tuition or fees incurred for the term in which the military order takes effect. A change in orders includes mobilization, activation, or a temporary duty assignment. Students must notify their Education Advisor of the change in orders and provide a fax or email copy of a valid order of duty. Please note: the above policy does not apply to situations that result in an absence of fewer than 14 days. In these situations, students should contact their instructor(s) for alternate assignments to be completed upon return from military activities.
That was taken from the Kaplan website. If you fit under this policy and did everything it said, and have proof of doing so, I would think you should contact the military support office at Kaplan and see if they can help you out.
