Scripps New Grad January 2023
Not yet, still waiting for my final interview for Scripps CV. I'm hoping that everything goes well. I did get a copy of the schedule for the New Grad Program from one of my classmates. Start on days for 20 weeks and then 20 weeks nights. During those weeks you are assigned a preceptor and have to take exams to test your knowledge. Hope this helps!

LVN to CLS??? Any advice is greatly appreciated :)
Hello, I just finished my LVN program in San Diego, CA. I'm currently waiting for my ATT and already got my IV CERT. I started doing my pre req for BSN a month ago and fell inlove working in labs. Now I'm not really sure if I want to pursue my BSN or just go to Clinical Laboratory Scientist. I know that CLS makes less than an RN, but thats not a problem for me since I have always been fascinated by "Science". Also one of the reason I started pursuing BSN was because I was told I can be a research nurse and yes I always wanted to go to research. So here are my questions: Can I work as a phlebotomist as a LVN with IV Cert? (reason for doing this is to get my lab experience for future internship for CLS) What is more competitive getting into a BSN school or CLS internship (San Diego, CA) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Very respectfully, The Angry Cook

Receive 2 F's before. Any Advice for this Vet?
I Receive 2 F from my last 2 classes from Kaplan University last year. Now, I'm a LVN student at South California and is planning to go for BSN once I'm done with VN. My question is, I received those F because I had to leave the area for more 5 weeks (Military Commitments) and I didn't have any internet connection. I called them ahead of time letting them know that I would gone and ask them to withdraw me from both classes. Anyways, long story short. When I came back I found out that I was still enrolled on both classes and got both F for it. What is the best way to handle this situation? Should I retake the classes so it wouldn't show on transcript? Should I let it be, since I'm a VN student anyways? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) PS: My degree with them was Associates in Human Resources that I never finished.

LVN to 30 Unit Option to BSN
thank you so much for clarifying this!!! :)

LVN to 30 Unit Option to BSN
30 unit option in California is not a degree, it will give me the chance to take the NCLEX-RN. Once RN, I'm assuming that the school will accept my license to go from RN to BSN.

Accelerated Masters with no Nursing background
Here in San Diego they offer a combo of BSN and MSN (Azusa Pacific University), but you are required to have some form of a bachelors. Its about 4 years long and from what I was told, it consists a lot clinicals.

LVN to 30 Unit Option to BSN
Can somebody please explain to me how the 30 unit option work? I talked to Pacific College here in California and was told that they would accept my 30 unit option for the online RN to BSN. By the way my husband is the Navy and we might get stationed somewhere else within the next 2 years. Thanks :)
