You'll have to call pearson and your BON to find out. I would do the same. If you pass NCLEX-PN, you may gain confidence to sit again for the RN boards in a few months. Best of luck to you.
thanks! :] i'll definitely call. it's emotionally draining.. but best thing to do.. is keep moving forward right.?
BRN has nothing to do with the LVN in CA you need to start from scratch with the BON and wait for eligibility to sit the exam and pay pearsonvue

I wish you the very best. I hope it works out for you because gaining any experience is better than none. And, it may give you more incentive to retake NCLEX-RN because that is what you originally set out to do in the first place.

hi. unfortunately, i have taken the nclex-RN 3 times, and have not made it. [note, don't say FAIL. because you only FAIL when you stop trying. just a little motivation.] after a week of deciding what my next step will be, i have decided to take the nclex-PN. and get my experience as an LVN.
wondering, how the reapplying process is for that.
is this the correct application form?

do i still pay 75 to the california BRN? and then 200 for pearsonvue for the NCLEX-PN option when registering? or is it a complete different process?
thank you. and goodluck to those who will be taking the test soon..for those who are studying for it..and for those waiting for results.
