Really really worried about getting into a nursing program.

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

So last semester I did pretty poorly. I received a 79.7 in anp and a 89.7 in stats. Physiologically that is a hard pill to swallow and honestly effects my application. My teas practice scores have improved a bit with about 15 hours of study but my reading scores went down since my last review because it hasn't been my areas of focus. 75 reading (down from 90) 80 math (up a bit) science 75 (up from 64) and English 73(up from 62)

I have an associates degree already and would prefer to get into a bsn program but my goal school is massively competitive. I have a 3.48 gpa right now. I plan on getting straight As. I decreased my work hours and might quit I March to double down on school. I really really want this and any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Update: I got an A in physio! Just a nutrition final left to take.

Where I plan to attend a 79 in A&P I wouldn't get you in unless you had really really good grades on everything else, and a pretty high TEAS score. Also where I plan to apply doesn't care about anything other than your math and science on the TEAS, so maybe look into what your program will look at and spend time focusing on that. I don't know how the school you plan to attend ranks people though. You're GPA is good. Maybe you should consider retaking A&P I. I've taken it twice. Once at my first go at college straight out of high school and then again many year and tons of maturing later. I am a C the first time, and an A the second time (I could have failed the final and still made an A). You really want to have a firm understanding of what is taught in A&P I since a lot of it will carry over into A&P II. Best of luck to you!

If you could fail the final and still get an A I would seriously question the possibility of grade inflation.

Yay! Congratulations, nutrition should be easier.
