Hello everyone. I am a former nursing student (LPN), due to life and some unexpected obstacles I wasn't able to finish the course. So with that being said, I'm at a point in my life now where I am 100% ready to go back and finish what I started but I have no idea about what schools I can look into being that the school I was attending was recently shut down, which is probably a good thing because I probably would have been one of those poor students who are now stuck with loans for a degree they will never receive. Any who I need some ideas or hear some of your experiences with your current school or past. Thanks in advance 😊

There are several resources you can find to locate schools: accreditation body website searches and a list of approved programs from the state BON. Utilizing the state BON list makes sure that you will be eligible to sit for NCLEX. Attending an accredited school can facilitate furthering your education and with some employers being eligible to apply for jobs.

Good luck. I'm in the same boat. Starting over starting this month for a ABSN program. Start by looking at approved schools from the BON website and go from there
Hi thanks for replying. If you don't mind me asking how long have you been out of school?
Thank you I will definitely do that.
Thank you for that information. Florida BON is a sure way to start my search. Thanks again :)
Your welcome. I've been out of school almost 2 years
