  1. Hello dear, I just came across your post and was wondering how is everything going at keiser and is it all what you expected. I'm comcodering going to keiser for the AS Nursing program but I just wanted current honest opinion about the school
  2. What an awesome story. Congratulations and much success to you in your nursing career 😊
  3. 17 18hr is great pay for a new grad LPN nurse. I live in Fl and some places start new nurses at 14 16hr. Beggers can't be choosers. If I were you I'd take that 17hr or 18hr and run with it. We all have to start somewhere to get where we want to be. I'd advise you to take that offer and get the experience you need so that later you can be picky about your pay.
  4. No not yet hun
  5. I know exactly how you feel. I was a LPN student at the homestead campus when it first opened up in January 2010. All what you just explained is exactly what happened to myself and my classmates. The teachers where not knowledgeable at all, we didn't even have the materials or books that we paid for to even study Its sad. Thank god those campuses are now shut down. They can no longer con students like us who are trying to be something in life but I'm sad for the students who were enrolled when they were shut down. Money and time wasted.
  6. Praying it all works out for you hun. The best of luck to you. :)
  7. Thank you for that information. Florida BON is a sure way to start my search. Thanks again :)
  8. Thank you I will definitely do that.
  9. Hi thanks for replying. If you don't mind me asking how long have you been out of school?
  10. Wow. I'm curious to know, how did everything work out for you?
  11. That is awesome. I hope one day I'll be telling this same story. Congrats and happy new year
  12. Hello everyone. I am a former nursing student (LPN), due to life and some unexpected obstacles I wasn't able to finish the course. So with that being said, I'm at a point in my life now where I am 100% ready to go back and finish what I started but I have no idea about what schools I can look into being that the school I was attending was recently shut down, which is probably a good thing because I probably would have been one of those poor students who are now stuck with loans for a degree they will never receive. Any who I need some ideas or hear some of your experiences with your current school or past. Thanks in advance 😊
  13. Hello, i attended an open house today at larkin (10/11/14) i loved the vibe that i got there so i decided to do a little internet searching and came across this post. Did you ever start attending and if so how was or is your experience there? Hope to get a reply soon :)
  14. Hello everyone. I am a nursing student but have been interested in transferring to another school. Has anyone on here heard of american medical academy in miami fl??? I need some info pleaseeee!!!
  15. Oh no im so sorry to hear that. Im glad someone warned me before hand because im hearing that this school is truely a joke. I just thought students were just saying that because there not putting in there part to succeed. Im so tired of looking for a school im just so ready to b back in school. Now im positive these two schools are not going to be one of my optiones and thank you so much for responding. I wish u the best of luck on your journey
