Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!
My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.
(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)
Yes, the letter says it's in the auditorium on the 11th floor. As far as the time goes, I'll have to juggle some things to make it happen, but I'll do anything at this point! lol.
Got my letter, I had my BF open it for me because I'm at work. I'm in for fall! Wow I can't believe this is finally happening. I preferred to start In The spring, but I'm sure I'll manage just fine. Congratulations to everyone who got their seats. Those who are wait listed as you can see everyone who posted here all had excellent stats, I wish you the best of luck, hang in there and don't give up. You still have a shot, and if it doesnt work out this year try to think of it as an advantage, you have time to work on co reqs or save more money for school. Your GPA counts for 50% so if any of you were worried about that being a little under the competition check into how you can bring it up by retaking a class if possible. I'm not sure on the policy so you should ask you school before going through with that. Good luck again everyone.

Congrats to those who have made it. Had to make an account to say that I got my letter today in the mail (4-11-2012), and I'm accepted to Three Rivers.
Very happy, although I just want to say I was waitlisted before and it's awful. Please everyone who is not accepted understand it's not over and you can do it. Last time around not being accpeted killed me, and hearing about everyone who got in made it worse. Don't loose sight of your goals, keep up your A&PII grades. Looking at the bigger picture I'm starting a semester or two after people accepted last year. Yes they started ahead of me, but I got micro , Enlish 102 and my elective done in the mean time. With great grades at that. Now all I have to worry about is my nursing courses.
Please dont be sad, depressed, or ashamed. Hold your head up and do what you need to do! And don't be like I was the first time around and put all your eggs in one ccnp basket. Re-apply of course, but apply to at least 2 other schools even if for a different trade, start looking into a degree that doesnt have as much compotition. that was my next step had I been waitlisted. I'd have started looking into human services...Even though I'd still want to do nursing and would have tired again, I'd be taking those classes so I could at least graduate....Gotta get that degree sometime.... Start researching now there are other options out there....
I applied this time around with a 3.66 gpa, TEA's V 82, and an A in A&P.
My letter came today too! Accepted to CCC! Stats were 3.97 GPA, 82 on TEAS, & A in A&P. Good luck to everyone still waiting & I'm crossing my fingers for all those waitlisted that you'll be called in anyway!
