Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences

Hello,

I got Accepted into the Fall 2015 and I was just wondering how the school is? How are the professors how you start out with? How much the books are? and what they expect from you so that I can start planning ahead.

I didn't go to that school but in case you don't get any replies on here I would suggest seeing if your school has an advisor you can meet with who would be able to answer some questions on preparation for you and see if hey offer an orientation. Books wise I would suggest checking out Amazon or Chegg because its usually much cheaper than the campus book store. Amazon prime for students is free for the first 6 months or so which is nice for free 2 day shipping :). Some questions you could ask if you meet with an advisor is if you are required to purchase scrubs through the school or on your own, if so what color? what color shoes must you have? Do they require you have a stethoscope, penlight, bandage scissors, etc? In terms of how your professors are you could try RateMyProfessor.com but honestly sometimes its better to go into the situation with an open mind about the person. Hope this helps, good luck and congratulations!

i cant answer any of these questions, but 4 girls from my chemistry class at racc got accected too. congrats! you'll have some pretty cool classmates!

I am an alumni of Reading Hospital. The instructors have changed from when I graduated 7 years ago. But what I can tell you it is a very good program and will prepare you well for the NCLEX. Good luck in your studies!

I was also accepted for Fall 2015! I am one of the girls from that chemistry class ;) I know some people who have attended the program recently and they love it. I am very excited to begin. Look forward to seeing you there :)

I graduated from them in 2012. The instructors have changed around a little bit since I've left but there were great the whole way through. There were only a few (it's a big staff) that caused issues but the Director of the program is good about protecting the students and such. As for books, they are included with your tuition. You don't need to bring them to class. They expect you to be prepared, on time and ready to ask questions. It's really a good program.
