I took my CGFNS CP exam last Sept.17. I found out that I failed. I was so devastated. I got a score of 384 and the passing score is 400. Someone told me that one applicant got a failed score then she asked for a recheck. It turned out that she passed the exam. I am curious. How much score is there per question in the CGFNS exam? Will you still advice me to have a rechecking of my score? or do you think it is just a waste of my $50-. You see, when i found out i failed this exam my self esteem is somehow affected. Do you know of others who asked for a recheck too? What happened? What are the statistic of people asking for a recheck and found out to be passers? pls reply me. thanks......

If you missed by perhaps one point, then you could go for the recheck. Missing by that number of points, and the odds are not in your favor.
With all of the students that I have worked with in the past years, have not seen one of them go for the recheck on the exam; and the few that I have heard of that did it, did not pass the exam if it was a difference of more than one point or so.
Not sure why you wrote this exam since it will not benefit you in any way with a license for the US and only four states still require that it be written.
There are 800 points total for the exam and different questions are assigned different points.
I would focus on passing the NCLEX exam unless this exam was required for the state where you wish to work. It is not anything like the NCLEX exam that is needed for licensure.
