I've failed my NCLEX twice before. One in 8/11 and then again in 10/11. I refused to so much as look at a nursing book for a long time. Until I realized that potential employers see my degree as a hinderance because I'll "probably leave" to pursue nursing someday. So here I am, buckling down for my exam again.
I got 265 questions BOTH TIMES.
I got near the line of passing in every subject BOTH TIMES.
Migraine BOTH TIMES.
I'm feeling really lost on how to prepare. I've signed up for Kaplan again, I was signed up when I took it the first time. I've been doing questions but I just really don't feel like it's enough.
I know that I need to give myself a deadline so I signed up for my exam, March 16th, 11:30am. Of course, with the intention that if I know I'm just not ready that I'll move the date. But for now, some tricks of excellent study techniques or something to help. I can do questions until I'm blue in the face but with so much material and "near the line of passing" twice - I kinda feel hopeless.
