Ill be taking mines for the third time too soon. Do you have any suggestions or what you did different the third time. I did hurst and kaplan the first time and just kaplan the second time. This time i have been doing questions on a site called study4nclex. I Have done some studying using content of the questions Im getting wrong this go around.Any tips can help.....start writing RN.....you passsed go celebrate.
All three times I used the updated version of the Saunder's book. I used the online study forum and did A LOT of questions. I waited probably almost 3 months before taking it my third time. In those 3 months I did NO STUDYING. I was too bummed to even think about it. The week beforehand though, maybe about 200 questions a day every other day. The day before I just relaxed and spent it with my fiance and curled up with a book. I figured what will be, will be. I did well in school I just needed to relax and have more confidence in myself. So crossing my fingers this time. I'm hoping my NOT studying will not kick me in the butt.

I took my nclex RN for my indiana license yesterday for the third time. The first two times I took it and got 265 questions. I tried the PVT and I went straight to the cc page both times. This time I felt like I was doing worse than the first two times and actually thought I was getting a break when it shut off at around 110...I thought I would go all the way again lol. I tried the PVT when I got home and was shocked that I got the good "pop up" (unable to reregister already have a scheduled appt yada yada). I've been told that this means I have passed. I'm skeptical though having failed twice. Ive been stalking the pla website because friends have had license numbers in less than 24 hours but nothing yet...I'm going crazy. I tried re-registering 3 times...
I've only found one forum where others have said they got the good pop up and actually failed but im wondering if they got the "on hold" pop up and were mistakened.. How has everyone else's experience been? I just want this nclex nightmare to be over and finally call myself a nurse.
