  1. It was the worst thing of my life...but don't let that scare you. Everyone is different.
  2. I passed!! Was able to do quick results today. Still waiting on license number though. And in other news I work as an aide at a hospital and they offered me a full time position as a nurse!!
  3. All three times I used the updated version of the Saunder's book. I used the online study forum and did A LOT of questions. I waited probably almost 3 months before taking it my third time. In those 3 months I did NO STUDYING. I was too bummed to even think about it. The week beforehand though, maybe about 200 questions a day every other day. The day before I just relaxed and spent it with my fiance and curled up with a book. I figured what will be, will be. I did well in school I just needed to relax and have more confidence in myself. So crossing my fingers this time. I'm hoping my NOT studying will not kick me in the butt.
  4. Ive taken it 3 times and actually had minimal pharm. Hoping to get my results for the third go soon! Good luck!
  5. I took my nclex RN for my indiana license yesterday for the third time. The first two times I took it and got 265 questions. I tried the PVT and I went straight to the cc page both times. This time I felt like I was doing worse than the first two times and actually thought I was getting a break when it shut off at around 110...I thought I would go all the way again lol. I tried the PVT when I got home and was shocked that I got the good "pop up" (unable to reregister already have a scheduled appt yada yada). I've been told that this means I have passed. I'm skeptical though having failed twice. Ive been stalking the pla website because friends have had license numbers in less than 24 hours but nothing yet...I'm going crazy. I tried re-registering 3 times... I've only found one forum where others have said they got the good pop up and actually failed but im wondering if they got the "on hold" pop up and were mistakened.. How has everyone else's experience been? I just want this nclex nightmare to be over and finally call myself a nurse.
  6. Thank you. I would if they would let me. But it told me to pick from 4 categories and it would relocate it for me if it wasn't in the correct category.
  7. yes it is a pass or fail, but if you fail they send you a letter saying what your strengths and weaknesses were. It lists all categories and tells you if you passed that category, if you ALMOST passed that category, or if you needed work on that category. I passed all categories and had listed next to one category ALMOST passed. As in I was close.
  8. On Tuesday I took the NCLEX for the second time. The first time I got 265 questions, and a letter in the mail telling me I ALMOST passed. So this time I studied the entire Saunder's book, and did every ATI test/live review that was given to me in the ATI live review class that we took at school. I went in feeling more confident, yet again I got 265 questions. I know that 265 means that I'm still in the game, and it is trying to figure out if I'm at that level of competency it wants. This time I decided that right away that I would not try the PEARSON TEST because last time all it did was drive me into a panic attack when it took me to the credit card page. So this time I would just check Indiana's license look up page. Today I noticed that my pending application is gone! My official results aren't available yet, only quick results, and I'm not pay $8 again for it to tell me that I failed. Does them taking down my pending application mean that I failed? After seeing this I attempted to reregister again and of course got taken straight to the credit card page. I don't know what to do, and am a hot mess til my official results are up tomorrow. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I did well in school, and on all my practice content I do really well. This has got me so bummed out, and questioning if I made the right career decision.
