3rd attempt to take the NCLEX RN........

...... eligibility ends this august 2010. i am still waiting for the ATT. i hope and pray i make it this time as the CA BON wont be renewing my registration . i am reading Saunders and Lacharity. its been a slow process as i am working mom....... been reading and practicing the CD at work but toooooo tired to read the Saunders (content).... averaging 50-65%... i saw this website and read all of the different situations nurses encounter with NCLEX and it is so comforting to know that i am not alone, there are lots of nurses to be, struggling to make ends meet and at the same time squeezing in to prepare for the exams. will be posting more as i progress with my review. wish me luck :)!

Our instructors wouldn't tell us what happens if you fail 3 times... you mentioned that your eligibility expires... is that state specific?

You said you are averaging 50-65%. Is that Kaplan?

Saunders? If it is Kaplan, you don't have far to go...

thanks! :) the new rule (CALIFORNIA) only applies to those who do not have SSN.... i am an internationally educated nurse .... 65% in Saunders and lower in Lacharity.... i hope to get the momentum going so that i am more comfortable reading and answering the questions.
